Founded in 2014, PicThrive was born from a simple frustration that millions of adventurers face: getting stuck with photos and videos they can't easily access or share.

The "Aha!" Moment that Changed Everything
It was 2013. Neal, our CEO and Cofounder, was canyon swinging in Queenstown, New Zealand—200 meters of pure adrenaline.
The tour operator captured the moment perfectly, but when it came time to get the photos, Neal faced the same old frustration every adventurer knows: wait to view photos, wait for USB burning and try to find a way to get them to his smartphone.
That frustration became our mission: make adventure memories instantly accessible, shareable, and profitable for the operators who capture them.
"We didn't want to buy photos we couldn't see, share, or access easily," Neal recalls. "We're travelers in the smartphone age—why were we still dealing with USBs and complicated processes?"
